ICMIF’s flagship event, the Biennial Conference, held every two years is a global gathering of mutual and cooperative insurance leaders from around the world. The objectives are to highlight and examine the leadership challenges, strategies and successes in our sector and to explore these topics within a unique international environment of cooperation and sharing. The most recent Biennial Conference in Cape Town, South Africa themed “Lead, Innovate..Influence” attracted 280 delegates, from 109 organizations from 47 countries and achieved the highest ever conference rating overall from delegates. Of those attendees, 99% said they were likely to attend the next Biennial Conference. ICMIF’s 2015 Biennial Conference will be held in Minnesota, USA, 7-9 October 2015.
